About Us
About inLanguage Boutique
inLanguage Boutique was created by passionate language teachers who wanted to change what it meant to learn a language in Melbourne.
We wanted to build a school that felt structured but relaxed, serious about learning but never stiff. A place where adult students could learn Italian, French and Spanish in small groups, with experienced teachers, clear course pathways and plenty of real conversation.
Since 2013, we’ve helped students learn languages for travel, family, work, culture, migration, study and the simple joy of being able to communicate in another language.
Our Approach
We know that learning a language is a big commitment. Becoming confident takes time, and most adults are fitting classes around busy lives.
That’s why our courses are designed to be practical, enjoyable and sustainable. Classes run in clear 10-week levels, so you can start from the beginning, continue term by term, or return after time away.
Our lessons include grammar, vocabulary, listening, pronunciation and conversation, with a strong focus on helping you actually use the language. You’ll work through the structure you need, but always with guided practice, support and space to make mistakes.
Small Classes, Real Teachers
Our classrooms are set up for small group learning. We keep classes personal so teachers can get to know their students, understand their goals and create a supportive environment.
You won’t be lost in a huge class or rushed through a program without support. Our teachers are experienced, passionate and involved in the learning process from start to finish.
Community, Culture and Conversation
Language is never just words on a page. Our classes are built around conversation, culture and connection.
Students come to learn Italian, French or Spanish, but they also come to meet people, ask questions, share stories, prepare for travel, reconnect with family or simply enjoy learning something new.
We believe the process of learning should be enjoyable, not just the result.
Course Books and Modern Learning
Most group classes use a course book to support the structure of each level. Course books give students a clear reference for grammar, vocabulary, listening activities and optional homework between classes.
But the book does not replace the teacher or the class experience. We use course books alongside speaking practice, teacher-led explanation, cultural content and extra activities suited to each class.
Our course books are modern, regularly updated and aligned with international language levels, while still allowing us to keep lessons practical, flexible and engaging.
Our Locations
inLanguage Boutique runs Italian, French and Spanish classes across Melbourne, with locations in Brunswick East, Thornbury, Balaclava and selected classes at Balam Balam. We also offer selected online courses and private lessons, depending on the language, level and term.
Whether you’re starting from scratch, returning after a break or continuing your language journey, we’ll help you find the right class, level and location.
