Shipping policy

This policy applies to physical products purchased from inLanguage Boutique, including course books, printed gift vouchers, gift packaging and language gift packages.

Digital gift cards, online courses and other non-physical products are delivered electronically and do not require shipping.

1. Shipping within Australia

We currently ship physical products to addresses within Australia.

International shipping is not ordinarily available through our online store. Customers outside Australia may contact us before purchasing to ask whether another arrangement is possible.

2. Shipping costs

Available shipping options and costs are shown at checkout before payment.

Shipping charges may vary according to the delivery address, parcel size and selected delivery service.

Where shipping is included in a product’s price, this will be stated on the product page.

3. Processing times

Physical orders are usually prepared within 2–5 business days after payment.

Personalised gift vouchers, gift packages and orders requiring confirmation of a language, level or course book may take a little longer.

We will contact you if we need additional information before preparing your order.

4. Delivery times

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and begin after the order has been dispatched.

Delivery may take longer during public holidays, peak postal periods, severe weather or other disruptions outside our control.

We will contact you if we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order.

5. Tracking

Where tracking is included, the tracking details will be sent to the email address or phone number provided with the order.

Tracking information may take a short time to become active after the parcel has been lodged.

6. Delivery addresses

Please check that the recipient’s name and delivery address are complete and correct before placing the order.

Contact us promptly if an address needs to be changed. We will try to update it where the order has not yet been dispatched, but cannot guarantee that a change will still be possible.

7. Incorrect addresses and returned parcels

If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, the parcel was refused or it was not collected, additional postage may be required before it can be sent again.

Original shipping charges are not ordinarily refundable where the delivery problem resulted from incorrect information or failure to collect the parcel.

Where the error was made by ILB, we will arrange a replacement delivery without additional charge.

8. Missing or delayed parcels

Please provide:

your name
order number
delivery address
tracking details, where available.

We will investigate the delivery and keep you updated.

If the order cannot be located or delivered within a reasonable time, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other solution.

9. Products damaged in transit

Please contact us promptly if an item arrives damaged.

Include your order number, a brief description of the damage and photographs of the product and packaging where possible.

We may ask you to keep the product and packaging while we assess the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, we will arrange an appropriate replacement, refund or other solution.

10. Split deliveries

Some orders may be delivered in more than one part.

For example, a digital gift card may be emailed immediately while a printed voucher, gift package or course book is prepared separately.

You will not be charged additional shipping because ILB chooses to split an order.

11. Course books

Where a course book depends on the recipient’s language or level, we may contact the purchaser or recipient before preparing the order.

Dispatch or pickup may be delayed until the correct book has been confirmed.

We will not substitute a different book or edition without confirming that it is suitable.

12. Physical gift packages

Selected language gifts may include a printed voucher, gift packaging or a course book.

The product page will explain what is included and whether the gift is available for shipping, pickup or digital delivery.

A printed voucher may accompany the same gift or redemption details supplied digitally.

13. Pickup from an ILB location

Selected products may be available for pickup from an ILB location.

Pickup is available only where it is shown at checkout or confirmed directly by ILB.

Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before visiting the location.

14. Collecting an order

Your pickup confirmation will include the location and collection instructions.

The person collecting the order may be asked to provide the purchaser’s name, order confirmation or identification.

Another person may collect the order where ILB has been notified or they can provide the required order details.

15. Pickup timeframes

Pickup orders should ordinarily be collected within 30 days of the ready-for-collection notice.

Please contact us if you need additional time.

If an order remains uncollected, we may offer to post it after the applicable shipping cost has been paid.

Personalised or prepared products are not automatically refundable because they have not been collected.

16. Changing pickup to shipping

You may ask us to post an order originally selected for pickup.

This is subject to the product being suitable for delivery and payment of the applicable shipping charge.

17. Product availability

Physical products remain subject to availability.

If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative, delayed fulfilment, store credit or refund.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

18. Returns

Returns, exchanges and refunds for physical products are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Gift cards and specific language gifts are also covered by our Gift Cards & Language Gifts Terms.
