Begin the French B1 pathway in a structured, supportive course for students who have completed French Intermediate 6 or have equivalent knowledge.
You’ll consolidate the main language developed throughout A2 while learning to communicate in greater detail about travel, living abroad, music and emotions. You’ll also develop more accurate past narration and become familiar with informal spoken French.

Is This the Right Level?
This course is designed for students continuing directly from French Intermediate 6.
You should already be comfortable using the present, passé composé, imparfait, future and conditional tenses, expressing hypotheses with si clauses, giving advice, discussing work and feelings, and using direct- and indirect-object pronouns.

French Advanced 1 begins the B1 pathway and covers Units 1 and 2 of Entre Nous 3.
