Join our long-running French B2 Revision and Conversation class online. This established group works directly with the teacher on a different topic each week, combining guided conversation with revision shaped around the students’ interests and language needs.
The course is designed to help experienced students maintain and extend their French through regular speaking practice, contemporary topics and targeted language revision. There is no fixed textbook sequence, allowing the teacher to adapt each lesson to the group.

Course: French B2 Revision and Conversation
Level: Upper Advanced / B2
Format: Live online small-group class
First lesson: Friday 16 October 2026
Day + time: Friday, 10:00–11:30 am
Course length: 10 weeks
Lesson length: 90 minutes per week
Course materials: Selected and supplied by the teacher
Best for: Experienced B2 students who want to maintain and extend their French through regular conversation and revision
What You’ll Cover
Each week centres on a different topic selected by the teacher in consultation with the class. Lessons may include:
- guided conversation and group discussion
- contemporary social and cultural topics
- revision of grammar in response to the group’s needs
- vocabulary development and natural expressions
- authentic articles, interviews and audiovisual material
- pronunciation, accuracy and fluency
- expressing and supporting more complex opinions
- maintaining confidence through regular speaking practice
Learning Online
Lessons are taught live by an experienced French teacher, with plenty of guided speaking practice and opportunities to interact with your classmates.
To participate, you will need:
- a reliable internet connection
- a computer or tablet with a working microphone
- a quiet space where you can speak and participate
- access to the online meeting platform specified by ILB
A camera is recommended so you can participate fully in class.
