You’ll explore artistic creation, controversy and censorship before examining how French changes across spoken, written and informal contexts.

Is This the Right Level?

This course is designed for students continuing directly from French Upper Advanced 5.

You should already be comfortable discussing contemporary workplaces, recruitment, technology and creative processes and communicating persuasively in professional contexts.

The required course book is Défi actuel 4 and is purchased separately.

Students continuing from French Upper Advanced 5 will normally already have this textbook. The same textbook is used throughout the French B2 Upper Advanced sequence.
