You’ll consolidate the main language developed throughout A2 while expanding your ability to express tastes and feelings, discuss permissions and prohibitions, and communicate with greater accuracy across a range of cultural and everyday topics.

Is This the Right Level?

This course is designed for students continuing directly from Italian Intermediate 7.

You should already be comfortable communicating across familiar everyday topics, using the present, passato prossimo, imperfetto, future and conditional tenses, working with pronouns and prepositions, and expressing opinions with reasonable confidence.

Italian Advanced 1 begins the B1 pathway and covers Unit 1 and the introduction to Unit 2 of Arrivederci! 3.
