Begin the Italian A2 pathway in a structured, supportive course for students who have completed Italian Level 5 or have equivalent knowledge.
You’ll consolidate the key foundations of A1 while developing more detailed and natural communication around travel, accommodation, homes, interests, sport, culture and free time.

Is This the Right Level?
This course is designed for students continuing directly from Italian Level 5.
You should already be comfortable using the present and passato prossimo, discussing everyday routines and past experiences, using reflexive verbs and direct-object pronouns, talking about shopping and quantities, and communicating in common travel situations.

Italian Intermediate 1 bridges the end of Arrivederci! 1 and the beginning of Arrivederci! 2.
The course covers Unit 12 of Arrivederci! 1 and Unit 2 of Arrivederci! 2. Both textbooks are purchased separately.
Students continuing from Italian Level 5 will normally already have Arrivederci! 1 and will need Arrivederci! 2 as they move into the A2 pathway.
