Continue developing your Italian in a structured, supportive course for students who have completed Italian Intermediate 1 or have equivalent knowledge.
You’ll expand your ability to speak about the past by learning to describe childhood, holidays and past events using both the imperfetto and passato prossimo. You’ll also develop practical language for clothing, shopping, asking permission and giving compliments.

Is This the Right Level?
This course is designed for students continuing directly from Italian Intermediate 1.
You should already be comfortable discussing travel, accommodation, homes and interests, making arrangements, using impersonal constructions with si, forming adverbs ending in -mente and using the present progressive.

Students continuing from Italian Intermediate 1 will normally already have this textbook.
Italian Intermediate 2 covers Units 2 and 3 of Arrivederci! 2.
