Continue developing your Italian in a structured, supportive course for students who have completed Italian Level 1 or have equivalent knowledge. You’ll extend your speaking skills, strengthen the present tense and learn practical language for discussing work, interests, accommodation and everyday situations.

Best for: Students who have completed Italian Level 1 or already understand its core content

- talking about work, professions and workplaces
- definite articles in the singular and plural
- using the verb fare
- discussing free-time activities and hobbies
- present-tense verbs ending in -are, -ere and -ire
- expressing likes and dislikes with mi piace and mi piacciono
- making suggestions
- understanding the difference between bene and buono
- booking a hotel room
- making a complaint
- asking for and explaining reasons
The Level 2 pathway corresponds to A1.2 and covers Units 3–5 of Arrivederci! 1.
Is This the Right Level?
This course is designed for students continuing directly from Italian Level 1.
You should already be comfortable with basic greetings and introductions, simple personal questions, numbers, the verbs essere and avere, and introductory present-tense sentences.

Course Book
The required course book is Arrivederci! 1 and is purchased separately. The same textbook supports all five Italian A1 levels, so continuing students will normally already have it.
