Continue developing your Spanish in a structured, supportive course for students who have completed Spanish Intermediate 1 or have equivalent knowledge.
You’ll expand your ability to describe people and relationships in greater detail while developing practical language for homes, living spaces and comparing people, places and objects.

- revision and consolidation of Spanish Intermediate 1
- identifying and describing people physically
- talking about relationships and similarities between people
- using present-tense verbs with c to zc changes
- describing whether people get along well or badly
- using expressions including llevarse bien or mal and caer bien or mal
- using ser, tener, llevar and parecerse to describe people
- describing houses and different types of accommodation
- vocabulary for rooms, shapes and architectural styles
- locating objects in a space
- using location expressions including arriba, abajo, sobre and al lado
- using possessive pronouns such as el mío and la mía
- forming and using comparatives
Is This the Right Level?
This course is designed for students continuing directly from Spanish Intermediate 1.
You should already be comfortable discussing emotions, narrating past events using regular and irregular preterite verbs, and using expressions including hace, desde, durante and hasta.

The required course book is Aula Internacional Plus Hybrid 2 and is purchased separately.
Students continuing from Spanish Intermediate 1 will normally already have this textbook.
Spanish Intermediate 2 covers Units 3 and 4 of Aula Internacional Plus Hybrid 2.
